Welcome to Westway Marketing
Hi and Welcome to my site
I was watching the Discovery channel the other night and the show was about "How they make that" The program featured the Rolls- Royce plant. Every car is hand made. Every part is meticulously engineered and checked and double checked. All of the parts scrutinized and special care is taken to make sure the owner has the very best. Production Digitizers can sometimes pump out 15 a day. Some brag that they do 300 a month. One recently said he does 150 a day. Sheeese... I feel lucky sometimes when I have done 3 or 4. Chevrolet and Ford turn out 1 car a day on average. Rolls- Royce on the other hand makes 1 car in 4 to 5 days. Enjoy your ride :O)
My name is Marv Ruddell and I started my company in 1977. After spending many years in the Automotive Hi Performance Racing Industry, I bought a multi head machine and operated it for nearly 10 years, before entering into the digitizing end of the business. I am a single parent of 4 wonderful grown children. I have been digitizing for around 19 years now. I welcome the opportunity to offer you a quote on all your custom digitizing needs. I can take your graphic, or logo, and turn it into a unique embroidery design that can be sewn on garments, caps, bags, aprons, etc. I look forward to your comments and questions. If I can be of service to you in the future don't hesitate to contact me at wwm1@adelphia.net Digitizing and client is like a marriage in that I need to know your idiosyncrasies. Like machine type, speed and hooping techniques. It is also important you know mine as well. My turn around is 3 to 5 days (except for backs) and I have a $45 minimum. On average I'm in the $2 to $7 per 1000 range. I use Pulse so if you have pulse I can send PXF files and then you can edit. I will elaborate later. Editing is no charge and done immediately if its something deemed my fault. Editing is done on a $35 per hour $25 min. bases if its something you want added or corrected that didn't appear in the original art. As it is in life all these are negotiable. All work is done on quote. I quote on complexity and never add any charges no matter how much I underestimated my time. My motto is "If you don't get the work then neither do I" You may email me or fax (509 561-3801 Mon-Fri 9am-5pm Pacific Time) your design and I will get back to you with the price. I have owned ultamatic single needle equipment and know how frustrating it can be when a digitizer does not lay out a design with a single needle in mind. Samples of my work are available on request. Payment is VISA, MC, Discovery. Your card is never run until work is completed and accepted.
My customers include some of the top name companies in the business. I have digitized the promotion designs for major motion picture studios. The Movies: Clueless, Mission Impossible, Clockers, The Firm, Slither and others. I have digitized promotion designs for Major Entertainers. They include: Crosby Stills and Nash, Clint Black, Barbara Mandrel, Brooks & Dunn, Melissa Etheridge, Jimmy Buffet, The Beach Boys. I have digitized for Major Corporations: Miller Brewing, Coors, Fosters, Upper Deck, Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods to name a few. In an effort not to be pretentious I am not just name dropping but merely establishing credibility. Your design will be carefully digitized. As a national award winning digitizer I have the experience, the knowledge and the state of the art equipment to handle any design whether simple or complex.

What I am NOT is a bunch of anonymous Busy Heads that turn out good designs sometime and bad designs another. I will never let someone else do my work and put my name on it. What you get from me is the real deal. What I'm not inexperienced beginner with no artistic talent charging cheap prices . Beware of those that advertise 2 to 5 dollar per thousand prices. Unless you live in a third world country you can not make a living charging these kinds of prices. Production Flat Rate Digitizers: There are production digitizers out there that charge cheap fixed prices but be assured of one thing. They are only concerned about three things. fast, fast and collect the money. There is no way you can digitize, verify and edit your design so it runs smoothly and do it fast. Check out my free designs. Rather than give you 130 crappy designs I have three good ones. I sewed 5 of the 130 and now I know why they are free. Must not have been communicating well with his guy in India that does most of the work. You can't run a large embroidery shop and silk screening and do it all yourself. Once again what you get from me is the real deal. Not a production trainee or someone only concerned about their own production and you being second. Yes some production companies are good but only when you get the owner not the flunky in the back or a guy in India or China. Trust me I'm not starting out and I will be here tomorrow. You simply can't charge a flat rate and stay in business. I have 25 years in this business and I have seen production houses come and go. Most go. Do you want your design archived by a company that will be here tomorrow or not? One other thing the flat rate production houses charge a flat rate for everything. You may not realize it but 40% of everything I bill is below the flat rate houses. Fact: Their minimum is their rate my minimum is $45 This is below the ones I know of in the U.S. You see something's are not always what they seem Foreign Digitizers: Finally I am NOT in a foreign country offering cheap "here today gone tomorrow" digitizing on pirated software. I am however a seasoned digitizer. I consider myself a qualified person that cares about the product I create. I take pride in what I do. Remember Digitizing is an extension of YOUR business and shouldn't you represent your company with the best? I think so. As a national award winning digitizer I will always take the extra time to make sure you are satisfied with what I do for you.
I can output in most formats including PXF/POF. Pulse Outline Files are the format I digitize in. They are the basic file I use in creating the design. If you have a Pulse editing system you can manipulate the design to your needs. If you don't you can go to the Pulse web site www.pulsemicro.com and load Ambassador for free. Ambassador is a program that will allow you to manage and manipulate any PXF/POF file I send you. This is better than CND because it is in the original form that the design was created. You will not suffer any missing segments or stitches that can be present when loading condensed from other systems to your equipment
Yours truly
Marv Ruddell
